It was originally owned by the Shere family but purchased by Ben McGarry who fan it for several years before it closed. I believe the reason it closed was that the water went bad (well) and they couldn’t find a good supply on site. Health Dept. wouldn’t let him bring the water from another source – had to shut it down.
